Shalom dear friends,

We are pleased to announce that we have launched the third lesson of the “Gift of Creation: Wild Animals Course” on the Harvest Life School website, created by Christa van Rooyen. The lesson’s title is “The Rhinoceros (Rhino)” and it is for the Observers Group, ages 4 to 6 years old.

Video clip from "The Rhino" Lesson.

IIn this brand-new lesson, we learn the basic facts about the powerfully created rhino. In the same way as with lesson one and two, we explore new words, and this time learn to write and have fun with the letter “r”. As with each lesson, we again have exciting activities, such as colouring and cutting a puzzle and tracing my hand onto a rhino footprint. We also learn how to make a rhino with paper, and yes, we have snack-time fun with food again!

This time, we reflect on the strength and fearlessness of the rhino and what we can learn from this powerful animal. We also reflect and learn more Bible verses:

In the book of Job, the rhinoceros is described as having “great strength” and being “fearless” (Job 39:9-12). In Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” and in 2 Timothy 1:7 we read: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

We thank Abba Father and everyone who assisted with this lesson.

Come and join the community and enrol in this course!
