Rachel-Mari Ackermann - Writer & Illustrator of the Woolly's Stories (Wollie se Stories in Afrikaans) Book Series

Woolly’s Stories are based on parables and stories from the Bible where sheep are used as symbols to depict our relationship with Jesus, our Good Shepherd. The stories are told by Woolly who is also a sheep character and who teaches children more about Jesus who is our Good Shepherd. The first story forms part of seven stories that teach the reader biblical truths by systematically revealing the character of God, his love for us, and how He has walked a path with man throughout the ages and is still doing so. Come and read Woolly’s stories for children aged 3 to 9.

More about each story...

Story One: Where's My Little Lamb?

In Where's My Little Lamb? (Waar's My Lammertjie?) we get to know Woolly the storyteller. We meet Sookie, her mother and Kind Shepherd. Sookie gets lost when a fierce storm hits. Will someone come to save her? Sookie also gets her name in this book... and she learns that Kind Shepherd knows and calls each sheep by name.
